Sugar fire6/26/2023 ![]() Now they are almost ubiquitous on large fires. A decade ago pyrocumulus were not common. During the entire time, pyrocumulus clouds are being created and maintained. It compresses three hours of extreme fire behavior into six minutes. If you can go anywhere else to work, I highly suggest doing so, because it can't get any worse than working here.8:31 a.m. On multiple occasions, I have heard the General Manager make inappropriate comments about staff, including comments regarding disabilities, name calling employees, and expressing a blatant disrespect for staff overall. ![]() Management often lies to prospective hires about expected wage and tip calculation, and ultimately takes advantage of their employees. I met many amazing people during my time at Sugarfire, but unfortunately due to the toxic work environment and culture, there was a high turnover rate and people never lasted long, mostly due to how poorly they were treated during their time at Sugarfire. When employees fail to meet these expectations and reach out for resources on training, support, etc., management shrugs them off and ignores ongoing problems. The management is uncooperative and extremely unprofessional, and set unrealistic expectations for employees. I do not have a single good thing to say about this company, other than I am so happy that I no longer work there.
